Ipsum has today announced it has secured a 2-year extension on Severn Trent’s WINS Lot 2 Framework. The extension follows Ipsum’s commitment to Severn Trent over the last 18-months delivering a range of services to improve network resilience.
The work will cover the entirety of the wastewater network which supports around 8 million people across the Midlands. Ipsum’s specialist team will utilise innovative no-dig techniques to improve asset health, reducing programme times, the effects on local communities and impact on the environment.
“The contract extension is a testament to our ongoing partnership with Severn Trent and the hard work of the Ipsum team over the last 18-months.
“By utilising no-dig techniques, we’re able to reduce programme length and its impact on the local community. It’s important to us that we’re not just working in a community, but with it. So, our programme of works is designed to be as unintrusive as possible without compromising the quality of the repair.”
Severn Trent Framework Director at Ipsum - Simon Aylott-Cleaver
“Having the right delivery partners as part of our framework will ensure we can take care of and enhance our waste network. We are pleased to continue our partnership with the experienced and trusted team at Ipsum.”
