Ipsum Acquires Electrical Engineering Specialist OTL

Ipsum are delighted to announce the acquisition of OTL Electrical Services Ltd (OTL), a highly skilled electrical engineering specialist from the Edwards family.

Wrexham-based OTL has a wealth of experience in high voltage (HV) and extra high voltage (EHV) distribution services, which includes switchgear and transformer upgrades, testing, commissioning, and asset maintenance services.

OTL marks the fourth acquisition in the power sector for Ipsum and helps strengthen our presence across Wales, Merseyside, and the Midlands. The OTL team will complement our existing capabilities and expand our capacity to support clients in optimising infrastructure investment and navigating the clean energy transition. Stephen Edwards will remain as MD.
