We’re working on behalf of SP Electricity North West to upgrade shared electricity supplies across Manchester, helping prepare homes for the increasing demand created by electric vehicles, heat pumps and solar energy, ensuring your property is ready for the future.
What is Electricity Supply unlooping?
Some older properties share a single electricity supply connection with a neighbouring home. This is known as a looped electricity supply.
Unlooping separates these shared connections, providing each property with its own independent electricity supply. This improves network capacity, supports the adoption of low-carbon technologies and helps create a safer, more resilient electricity network.
Who is Electricity North West?
SP Electricity North West is the electricity distribution network operator (DNO) responsible for maintaining and upgrading the electricity network across the North West of England.
