We help to keep our communities connected. Our work across the UK’s Tram and LightRail networks plays a critical role in enhancing connectivity for residents. In a time when families are feeling the pinch, it provides cheaper and more convenient methods of travel around urban areas but also reduces the pollution around our cities by reducing traffic on the roads.

Traction & DC With our specialist Traction and DC Traction Power capabilities we work with the UK’s key operators of Tram and Light Rail networks. Through a bespoke service we cover all aspects from design through to hand over of traction power systems. We also provide a range of services and supply systems to support the system operator at every level, including full call out and maintenance and servicing options.

Traction Power supply We work in both Overhead Line (OHL) & Conductor Rail installations and railway systems. As well as new build, we work on aged installations, where we can provide new protection systems to existing switchgear to extend the life ofthe equipment. This is in addition to designing andintegrating new switchgear, transformers, rectifiers, and ancillary systems into service. Our services cover traction transformers including installations, as well as DC cabling installations, SCADA systems and SCADA installations. We can also work on DC short circuit testing, DC switchgear, DC traction systems commissioning and DC traction power testing and commissioning.
