Parco to support Lidl EV charge point roll out

Ipsum Group acquisitions Parco EV Solutions and Parco Civil Engineering & Groundworks will support the roll out of new electric vehicle (EV) charge points across Lidl’s UK stores.

The multi-national supermarket giant, and the UK’s fifth largest, recently opened its 1,000th UK store in East Grinstead, Sussex, and in the last financial year recorded an additional 38 million customer visits to its stores.

Parco’s involvement marks an important step in enabling more accessible, sustainable travel for Lidl customers. Specialists are already delivering high-quality installations that will support Lidl’s commitment to sustainability and provide convenient charging solutions for communities nationwide.

As Parco continues to support major clients such as Lidl in delivering infrastructure for a more sustainable future, its capability has now been boosted by the benefits of becoming part of the wider Ipsum Group – a market leader in specialist engineering services across the wider Power sector – and specifically the expertise available through Ipsum’s own Grid Connections division.

Ipsum is now well positioned to take full advantage of the acceleration of EV infrastructure roll out across the UK.
