In July, Ipsum acquired RJ Power, a leading electrical engineering company delivering in London and the South East. The acquisition not only expanded the Ipsum capability into Central London, but also gave RJ Power’s existing customers access to a whole host of further capabilities in Power, Water and Infrastructure.
National Sales Director at RJ Power, David Pierce, has attended numerous events over the last 12-months, because he knows it’s crucial to keep your finger on the pulse of industry trends and conversations.
Here are his key reflections:
Improved relationship building – these events are an excellent opportunity to develop stronger relationships with both clients and suppliers, allowing the business to build communication and trust and create more opportunities for future collaboration.
Insight into market trends – meeting with business owners across the board is a great way to obtain in-depth insights into current industry trends, emerging technologies and shifting client expectations that are shaping the current market landscape.
Strategic Partnership Opportunities – we have found it a productive way to identify potential areas for strategic partnerships and joint initiatives that can drive mutual growth and competitive advantage.
Operational and Process Improvements – it is hugely rewarding to impart our own vast knowledge, as well as learn more about best practices and innovative approaches to streamline operations, improve efficiency and deliver higher-quality outcomes.
Broadening our perspective – at each event, we have gained exposure to how other organisations are addressing shared challenges – such as sustainability and supply-chain resilience – and how these insights can be applied internally.
