Ipsum showcases SR27 readiness at its Scotland Innovation Event

Ipsum successfully hosted its first Innovation Event in Scotland, bringing together customers and industry professionals to explore the latest advancements in water infrastructure.

Held at St Mirren Football Club in Paisley, the event provided a valuable opportunity for Ipsum to demonstrate how it is delivering innovative, efficient and sustainable solutions across Scotland’s wastewater and potable water networks, supporting the ambitions of the SR27 investment framework.

The event featured a series of live demonstrations, presentations and networking sessions, giving attendees a first-hand view of Ipsum’s specialist capabilities across the water sector. This included insight into the company’s expertise in:

  • Trenchless and no-dig rehabilitation technologies
  • Pipeline inspection, maintenance and repair
  • Asset lining and structural protection solutions
  • Leak reduction and network performance optimisation
  • Specialist equipment deployment for complex environments

Customers were able to engage directly with Ipsum’s teams and explore how these solutions are applied on live projects across Scotland.

The demonstrations highlighted how Ipsum supports customers to:

  • Extend the life of critical water assets
  • Reduce excavation, disruption and carbon impact
  • Improve operational performance and efficiency
  • Build long-term resilience into infrastructure networks

With the Scottish water sector preparing for the next regulatory period, SR27 places increasing emphasis on sustainability, innovation and asset resilience.

Ipsum’s sustainable engineering approach is focused on delivering low-carbon, high-impact solutions that align with these priorities. By combining advanced technology with engineering expertise, Ipsum is helping customers address ageing infrastructure challenges while improving environmental outcomes and whole-life performance.
