What is unlooping?
Unlooping is a process of disconnecting a shared electricity supply, where one properties supply is ‘looped’ onto another. Electricity North West is taking a proactive approach and unlooping some properties free of charge in your area, which will present a number of benefits for you, your family or your tenants.
Who is Electricity North West?
Electricity North West Limited (ENWL) is the regional electricity distribution network operator responsible for delivering power to homes and businesses across the North West of England. It works to improve electricity infrastructure across the region to ensure it is safe, reliable, and sustainable.

Who is Ipsum?
Ipsum is an engineering services provider, working in the Power sector alongside Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) such as Electricity North West to maintain and improve the UK’s electrical infrastructure.
We are a trusted delivery partner and principal contractor working on behalf of Electricity North West to complete the unlooping works as part of this project. Our team specialise in infrastructure improvements, ensuring electrical networks are upgraded efficiently, with minimal disruption and safety as the top priority.
