Ipsum Group’s Water division in England & Wales has been awarded the RoSPA Gold Medal Award for the seventh consecutive year. The award recognises commitment and performance in health, safety and environmental management.
The announcement comes during the 70th year of the RoSPA Health and Safety Awards, an established programme that assesses organisations’ approach to occupational health and safety standards, strong safety cultures, robust risk management, and continuous improvement. Medal-level recognition is issued to organisations that maintain Gold-level performance year on year.
Group SHEQ Director, David Foster, said: “I am delighted to share with you the news that Ipsum Water England & Wales have earned RoSPA’s prestigious Gold Award for a sixth consecutive year. My thanks go to my SHEQ colleagues and to everyone who has contributed to this outstanding achievement by following our Be: SAFE values every day. We want you to Be: SAFE at work and go home safely each day.”
RoSPA’s Growth Director, Julia Small, said: “Ipsum should be proud of the hard work and commitment to keeping people safe that has resulted in a RoSPA Award, which honours those organisations who have achieved the highest standards in health and safety in the workplace.
RoSPA regards Ipsum as a strong example of the importance of making accident prevention central to any successful organisation, not just for the benefit of employees, customers and clients, but also society as a whole.”
Ipsum Group provides engineering and maintenance services across the Water, Power, Infrastructure and Telecoms sectors, working with clients in both regulated and non‑regulated environments.
Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) is a UK-based charity and leading voice in health and safety, campaigning to reduce avoidable accidents at home, on the road, at work, and during leisure time. The RoSPA Awards is open to organisations across a range of sectors in the UK and internationally. Entries are reviewed by an independent adjudication panel based on evidence submitted during the application process.
