The Role
Job Purpose
undertaking all jobs competently and safely in a professional manner ensuring safe working practices whilst instilling client confidence in our company’s abilities.
Principal Accountabilities
- To work on own initiative to deliver all aspects of grounds maintenance.
- Routine garden maintenance such as grass cutting, hedge trimming & strimming
- Plant care
- Pruning, weeding.
- Tree maintenance
- To operate and carry out basic maintenance of tools and machinery associated with the role inline with Health & Safety regulations.
- To communicate with clients and members of the public in a professional & courteous manner.
- Ensure the highest level of customer care and quality workmanship.
- Follow the Ipsum Drainage (Scotland) Limited Health & Safety policy at all times.
- Carry our any other duties as may reasonably be expected of the post holder, commensurate with the scope, spirit and nature of the job.

Qualifications
Driving licence
Knowledge & Experience
- Landscaping or ground maintenance experience.
- Experience in the use of tools and equipment such as mowers, strimmers & hedge cutters,
- Good Health & Safety awareness
- Experience of working as part of a team and the ability to build positive collaborative relationships with colleagues, management and customers.
Skills & Personal Qualities
- Good communication skills
- Self- motivated and organised.
- Flexible attitude and approach.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to deliver tasks to deadline.
