Our History

Ipsum was created in 2017, but our history predates this. Our ambition was to create a modern, dynamic, utilities and infrastructure support services provider with the in-house capability and national coverage to deliver innovative, technology-driven asset management solutions to public and private sector customers, UK-wide. We have successfully unified several smaller businesses which each held their own expertise, some spanning several decades, to create a specialist utilities and infrastructure platform. This means our people have nearly a century of experience within the sectors we operate, making us truly specialist.

With customer service at the heart of everything we do, our service capability and unique industry expertise has allowed us to continually diversify into new market sectors and partner with long-term customers to offer specialist service provisions that support the design, maintenance and upgrade of their critical networks.
